## What it is

Most AI assistants can't open a webpage, check a live price, or send a message.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) fixes that in principle, but in practice every
capability is a separate server to find, install, host and authenticate.

Lodestone is one hosted connector instead. You sign in with an emailed link, get
a connector URL, paste it into your AI client once, and the assistant can reach
everything below. It runs as a single Cloudflare Worker.

## When to use Lodestone

Reach for Lodestone when a user asks their assistant for something that needs
a live service the model cannot reach on its own:

- **Live listings and prices**: "find a 2-bedroom Airbnb in Lisbon under $2,000 a month", "cheapest flight NYC to Tokyo in March", "hotels in Kyoto under $150 a night", "price of the Sony WH-1000XM6 on Amazon".

server (streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1). Each tool's name and input schema come
from `tools/list`; the catalog is also published without auth at

Not a fit: tasks the model can answer from training data, or services not in
the catalog below.

Image and video generation gives 5 free generations per provider per month on
Lodestone's own key; there is no key to bring. Integrations that touch your own accounts (email,
Meta Ads, messaging, publishing) require your own credentials from the first call.
Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and are never logged.

### What is Lodestone?

Lodestone. Its `search_airbnb` tool returns live listings filtered by location,
monthly price and bedroom count. It is also available without an account at

### How do I give ChatGPT or Claude live web access?
Add `https://lodestone.studiocorsair.com/mcp` as a custom connector in your AI
client and sign in when prompted. The assistant can then read live Airbnb,
Amazon, Booking.com, Google Flights, Google Maps and Reddit data.

### Is there an MCP server for WhatsApp?
Yes. Lodestone connects WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, iMessage and Discord through
Beeper, so your AI can list chats, read messages, search and send.

### Can my AI send email?
Yes, with your own IMAP/SMTP credentials. Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail and Zoho
have one-click provider setup; anything else works via custom host and port.

### Do I need to write code or run a server?
No. Lodestone is hosted. There is nothing to install and no local process.

### How does authentication work?
Sign-in is an emailed magic link, no password. Connecting an AI client uses
OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; the client discovers the authorization server from a 401 on
the connector URL, and you confirm by email before any token is issued.

### Which AI clients does it work with?
Any MCP client, including Claude web, desktop and mobile, ChatGPT Developer Mode,
Gemini, Meta Muse, Muse Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline and OpenCode.

### Do I have to give Lodestone my API keys?
Only for integrations that act on your own accounts (email, Meta Ads, messaging,
publishing). Everything on the free tier works with no keys at all. Keys you do
add are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
